Why Install a Masonry Heater?
Masonry heaters are specially designed to reach and maintain high temperatures for a long period of time. The built-in ventilation of masonry heaters allow the core to reach temperatures of approximately 1500ºF. The heat at the core is stored in the mass of the heater and radiates out steadily. The radiant heat that masonry heaters produce evenly warms the area to a stable and comfortable temperature for periods of up to 12 hours. Often, masonry heaters don’t need to be fired more than once or twice a day, sparing you the cost of precious firewood and the time involved in keeping the fire stoked.
